The only place to book connecting hotel rooms and suites. Here's how.

A melting pot of different cultures, communities and festivals, New York City is no stranger to parades. Whether it is Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, St. Patrick's Day, Parade, NY Persian Parade or LGBT Pride March, New York knows how to put up a parade that will inspire you and make you want to join in and celebrate.

New York Pride Celebration

What started as a civil right demonstration in 1970 has transformed into a celebration of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender communities and their allies and further evolved to recognize the fight against AIDS. New York Pride Parade typically starts at Fifth Avenue and ends at Greenwich Village with hundreds of contingents taking to the streets in a spectacular display of color. But the Pride March is only one of the many events that together forms New York LGBT Pride Week. Main events include The March, The Rally, Teaze, PrideFest, the Dance on the Pier and as of 2017, Pride Island.

While you're in the city, and if you have time away from the myriad of NY Pride Weekend activities, you could check out a few of the many top attractions in New York, go watch a play in an iconic New York City theater or visit a museum.

When to Book For New York Pride

New York Pride is attended by tens of thousands of people every year so naturally, flight and accommodation rates start rising closer to the dates. Whether you're looking to stay in a hotel or rent a private home, it's best to plan ahead. We recommend booking a stay at least 60-90 days in advance to lock in the best prices before last-minute rates kick in. Customers who use Suiteness to book a stay, like that they are guaranteed the best price on hotel suites

Where to Stay For San Francisco Pride

Hotel suites are great if you're looking for a nice stay close to all the action, and it also makes better sense if you're traveling as a group since booking a suite is a convenient and cost-effective way for groups to stay together.

Refinery Hotel New York is a fine choice for a New York City stay that is within walking distance to Grand Central Station and all major subway lines. The hotel has plenty of eclectic suite choices to opt from, especially for art and film lovers. Don't forget to enjoy a nice outdoor picnic and cocktails during Monday night open air screening of classic movies at nearby Bryant Park.

One of other New York City favorites is Andaz 5th Avenue, right in the heart of Midtown on 41st street. We recommended the fabulous Loft Suite with amenities to relax after the March.

For larger groups, we suggest booking one of our exclusive connecting suites that come with an attached room or another adjoining suite so you get the space of a regular two or three bedroom suite at a fraction of the price. For example, the VIP Suite + Grand King at Grand Hyatt New York for a group of 6 people or Executive Suite + Traditional King at Sheraton New York Times Square which not only sleeps a group 4, but also gets you complimentary access to the Club Lounge, a hot tub, and laundry services. Very suite, we know.
