Whether you’re into cocktails, beer or wine, there is literally something for everyone in Vegas, and we’re here to help you find it.

Best Bars in Las Vegas

Wine Bars

There's a myriad of options for the wine lover in Las Vegas–of, course, you have your run of the mill wines at all restaurants, bars, lounges, and shows–but where do you go if you’re a real Oenophile? To start here's a sampling of high-end wine bars, restaurants, and opportunities for wine tasting on the Las Vegas strip.

Aureole | Restaurant & Bar | The Strip

Known for its seafood and appealing modern decor, this exquisite restaurant is headed by Chef Charlie Palmer, one of the most highly regarded chefs in America today. But what really sets Aureole apart is their vast wine selection. Centrally located on the restaurant's floor is a massive wine cellar, encased in a giant glass and steel structure. The wine cellar reaches all the way to the ceiling and is accessed by a sommelier with a Mission Impossible-type rope and pulley system. The experience of watching your sommelier travel up and down the giant glass case is just something else, of course, there's the wine too.

Rio Wine Cellar and Tasting Room | Wine Bar | The Strip

The Wine Cellar features some of the best selection of wines by the glass in Las Vegas. They also have a nice selection of rare wines that are perfect for those that enjoy trying the very best of the selection. In addition, Rio's Wine Cellar also features a great assortment charcuterie plates for incredible wine pairings. This comfortably cool atmosphere and a great spot to relax and escape the Las Vegas bustle.

La Cave | Tapas Bar | The Strip

Boasting of an incredible selection of nearly 250 bottles to choose from, and 50 wines available by the glass, La Cave at Wynn Las Vegas is one of the best places in town to enjoy a fine wine. Pair their wines and extend your culinary palette with their American-inspired small plates menu—we recommend the mushroom grits, paired with full-bodied red. Lastly, the 4,000 square foot dining space is separated into intimate dining sections, perfect for small groups looking for quiet relaxation.

Beer Bars

Beer lovers are in luck, Las Vegas breweries offer some of the best craft beers in America. If you make your way down the Las Vegas Strip, you'll find a wide range of pubs and bars with great selections of cold beers to help you through those hot Las Vegas afternoons. Whether you’re into dark hoppy beers or crisp and refreshing pale ales, Las Vegas won't disappoint you.

Todd English P.U.B.| Gastropub | The Strip

An ideal spot on the Strip to grab a beer and enjoy some of the best pub food in Las Vegas. The pub offers a large selection of 70 premium beers with some unique top-shelf choices. As much as the food and beers are great, so is their happy hour, so if you’re looking for a great pub style atmosphere, this is the place.

Public House | Gastropub | The Strip

With a dizzying selection of 200 premium beers, including 24 beers on tap and seasonal offers of artisan cask brews, this swanky bar and eatery is a beer lovers dream. The Public house also serves up some of the Las Vegas best specialty dishes, like their poutine french fries served with duck confit, cheese curd and gravy, and scallops served with oxtail stew.

Aces & Ales | Pub | South of the Strip

If you’re looking for more of local experience, there is Aces & Ales bar. Located little ways off the Las Vegas Strip, this place offers some great beers and happy hour specials. Aces & Ales features 150 bottled beers, many of which are limited editions. They also offer a great $20 beer tasting that includes six different beers paired with a gourmet dish from their menu. For those looking for something less fancy, join the happy hour and enjoy over 50 different $5 draughts.

Cocktail Bars

Sometimes you just need a drink with a bit more character. We're not talking about your average well-spirits cocktail drinks, we're talking masterfully crafted "drinkable" works of art. Fortunately for cocktail enthusiasts, Vegas is full of great cocktail lounges and bars, and some of the best mixologists on the planet.

Mandarin Bar | Lounge | The Strip

One of the classiest bars in Las Vegas, this elegant spot features pristine floor-to-ceiling windows that showcase a jaw-dropping view of the Las Vegas Strip. Likely one of the most upscale bars on the strip, Mandarin Bar's sophisticated contemporary decor, and elegant modern design is second only to their incredible cocktails. Our favorite is the Golden Leaf Martini (The Mandarin Martini). This delicious concoction is made up of Hendrick’s, Aperol, muddled mandarin, pineapple, fresh lime juice and simple syrup, a nearly perfect cocktail.

Minus5° | Lounge | The Strip

Quite literally one of the best bars in Las Vegas, Minus5° offers some of the most interesting cocktails in Las Vegas. With the exception of their floors, for obvious reasons, the entire bar is made of ice, which means they have to keep this bar cold, very cold. On average, the bar stays at about 18°F. Not the worst deal when you're dealing with the stifling warmer Vegas months. The cold temperature also lends well to their selection of cocktails that are, of course, served in ice glasses. Don't worry about bringing sweaters, given that the bar is essentially frozen, guests will be offered receive warm coats to wear while enjoying the bar.

BLVD | Cocktail Bar | The Strip

Nestled right next to the High Roller observation wheel at The Linq, BLVD is one of the hippest places on the Las Vegas Strip. The spacious 2,400-square-foot lounge features live music, award-winning mixologists, and an expansive menu of inspired cocktails. It's an ideal place to unwind or get your night started. If you happen to drop by, we recommend you check out their long assortment of craft martinis.

Herbs & Rye | Cocktail Bar | West of the Strip

Herbs & Rye is a local favorite and another one of the absolute best bars in Las Vegas. In addition to their savory cocktails, the place also boasts of a great dinner menu to pair with your drinks. Located on 3713 West Sahara, Herbs and Rye is a little further away than most bars, but close enough that it's still accessible for those staying on the Strip. You'll find a great selection of drinks and one of the best happy hours in town.
